The "Miami Vice" I am watching now has George Takei (Mr. frickin' Sulu on Star Trek!) as a big-time bad guy, Capt. Lou Albano of 80's pro-wrestling fame as one of his henchman, and Melanie Griffith as a millionaire madam with all kinds of high priced hookers!

WHOA!!! The deal went bad and Tubbs shot Capt. Lou, and Melanie Griffith just blew away Mr. Sulu!

Dayyyammnn!

Her .45 was DEFINITELY not set on Stun.

There is a "Miami Vice" marathon on the TVLand channel tonight!

The one I just saw had Bruce Willis as a guest star playing an arms dealer.

"Freeeeze!! Miami Vice!!" is said by Detective Sonny Crockett at least once every episode.

How much more 80s can you get??!!

I just heard that Richard Pryor died today.

He will be missed.

I guess this is what I get for shooting my mouth off.

There are 3" of snow on the ground already and it's supposed to keep piling up all day long.

This afternoon I will have to dig myself out of my parking space at work before heading out to shovel my parking space at home.

That's double the fun!

I can't believe this huge Nor'easter we are in the middle of, it's downright ridiculous.

Before going to work this morning I had to scrape off at least 9 inches of sun off my car.

And the commute was just as bad. Blinding sun all the way. Do you know how hard it is to drive when it's sunny out?

I'm glad I listened to the local meteorologists and filled up my tank with gas, bricked up all my exterior windows, filled my bathtub with water, liquidated my 401k into small bills, slaughtered all the livestock, and bought plenty of milk and batteries.

I think it's time Gov. Romney declared a state of emergency and begins issuing a mandatory pair of Oakley sunglasses to everyone before all us poor souls go blind from all the sun this Nor'easter is throwing our way.

Woke up to a couple of inches of snow this morning.

They say to expect even more snow from one of those colloquial Nor'easter storms on Tuesday.

Good thing I bought a new shovel last weekend.

Good thing I parked in the empty garage last night so I don't have to needlessly go outside and clear the snow off my car. Not.

Dammit.

In yeterday's mail was Star Wars III: The Revenge of the Sith from Netflix.

(I can't live without Netflix, by the way.)

I saw it when it was in the theaters and thought ROTS (I'm such a dork) was good but I need to know one thing: Is there a version available that has all of the Natalie Portman scenes taken out (except the last scene where she gives birth and then DIES)? ?

Man, her role/acting in this film is B-A-D bad bad bad.

I still think that the Thornton trade was a total panic move, but you know what?

Maybe this is what the Bruins management should have done a long time ago.

Hey, it worked for the Red Sox when they shipped fan-favorite Nomar to the Cubs in exchange for a couple of no-name defensive infielders. Maybe throwing Joe to the Sharks is the start of something good? Maybe not.

I heard Bruins President Harry Sinden on WEEI this morning and he said (and I am paraphrasing) that overall, Joe Thornton's time in Boston has been a disappointment, he never lived up to the expectations of Bruins management, and that he thinks Joe should never have been named Captain. Yikes!

Joe sees it another way: "I came back here to win, and we haven't been winning. Whose fault is that? I'm not sure, but I'm out of here, so it must be mine."
